November 20th, 2019 – The Islip Town Board is proud to have recently approved a resolution to waive the Town fee for a marriage license, when either party applying is an active duty member of the US Armed Forces.

October 30th, 2019 – It was a special moment at Long Island MacArthur Airport Friday, when a heart transplant recipient met the donor’s daughter for the first time.
Long Island resident Raymond Miehl, 62, met Ashley Brayton of Ohio, who's father’s heart now beats in his chest, after she exited the gate from her Southwest Airlines flight.
