March 25th, 2021 – Long Island MacArthur Airport today announced that Southwest Airlines will begin new nonstop service to Music City – Nashville, TN. Nashville (BNA) is available for booking immediately with one daily nonstop flight from ISP beginning June 6, 2021.

March 24th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by Good Samaritan Hospital President, Ruth Hennessey and hospital health care workers, at the unveiling of a bench donated by the Town of Islip in their honor, and presented during COVID Remembrance Day.
March 16th, 2021 – The Town of Islip graduated a total of 11 Park Rangers and Fire Marshals from its in-house Peace Officer Academy. The Class of 2021 marks the fourth graduating class from the Town's New York State certified program, taught by qualified instructors.
