March 17th, 2023 – Family and friends of longtime West Islip resident Anthony Scuderi turned out for a car parade celebrating his 99th birthday this week. "If I ever reach 99 or 100, I want a parade to come down the block,” Anthony once told his daughter, Maria. “Me, being the love of shenanigans, those words I never forgot,” she said. “And being the dad and the man he is, I wanted to fulfill his wish,” she added.

March 17th, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and the Islip Town Board recently honored six women and organizations from across the Township as part of the Women’s History Month Celebration held during the March Town Board Meeting.

March 13th, 2023 – Thousands turned out for the 21st Annual Bay Shore-Brightwaters St. Patrick’s Day Parade Saturday. Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with Donna Moravick, RN, NP, MBA, Executive Director, South Shore University Hospital, who served as the parade’s Grand Marshal.
