The Town of Islip is proud to recognize Black History throughout the month of February, and each day throughout the year. Islip Town is realized by the diverse cultures and heritages of its residents, and Black History Month represents the opportunity for all within the Town of Islip to celebrate the many contributions of its neighbors, volunteers and professionals, who help to enrich our Town with diversity.
"While COVID-19 continues to place limitations on many facets of our lives, our Town is honored to share in the importance of Black History Month, and encourages all to pay tribute to the accomplishments of our diverse neighbors year-round," said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
