Living History Day at Islip Grange

May 31st, 2022 – Hear ye, Hear ye! On Saturday, June 11, the Town of Islip will host its beloved Living History Day at the Islip Grange. The event will feature demonstrations of colonial cookery and military drills, walking tours of the Islip Grange, a mock town meeting using Town Historical Records, and a lesson on how to research your home’s history. Groups participating include local historical societies, reenactment groups, the Montaukett Nation, the Bayport Aerodrome, and the Islip Town Clerk and Historian’s Offices.

The family friendly event will take place from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Islip Grange Park, located on Broadway Ave. in Sayville.
