First Responders, Essential Workers and General Public Invited to FREE Mental Health Webinar

Suffolk County FRES has partnered with the American Red Cross to present a three part webinar series supporting mental health during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The meetings will be instructed by Dr. Thomas Hlenski and Amy Belfiore from the American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Team. This meeting for Wednesday, April 15th is for First Responders.

Additional dates for the general public, as well as Suffolk County essential employees are listed below.
  • Friday April 17th 3PM for General Public
  • Tuesday April 21st 3PM for Suffolk County Essential Employees

The Town of Islip invites you to plunge into the icy waters of The Great South Bay on Saturday, April 18th, for the annual Polar Bear Splash benefitting AHRC Suffolk. The event will kick off at 10:00am at the Bay Shore Marina, with registration beginning at 9:00am. Those bold enough to tread the frigid waters can download a registration form via www.islipny.gov.
