Welcome to the Town of Islip Receiver of Taxes homepage. This site has been completely revamped to give taxpayers a more user-friendly experience when inquiring about property taxes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO THE TAXPAYERS OF THE TOWN OF ISLIP; that Andy Wittman, the Receiver of Taxes has received the 2024-2025 Assessment Roll and Warrant. He will accept payment of taxes by mail or at his office beginning Monday, December 9, 2024. Online payments begin Monday, December 9, 2024, starting at 10am., please visit https://Tax.IslipNY.gov. The tax bills are being mailed out the week of December 9, 2024.

Due Dates:

1st half taxes are due on/before January 10, 2025
2nd half taxes are due on/before May 31, 2025

Thursday, June 19, 2025 in observance of Juneteenth
Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day
Monday, September 1, 2025 in observance of Labor Day

Monday, June 2, 2025 – (8:30am – 7:00pm)

***THE 2024-2025 TAX BILL WILL BE MAILED TO THE ADDRESS ON FILE ON OR ABOUT DECEMBER 9, 2024*** You will not receive a bill in December if your property taxes are escrowed through your financial institution.

After May 31st, any taxes plus penalty and interest must be paid to the Suffolk County Comptroller’s office, located at 330 Center Drive Riverhead, NY 11901. (631) 852-3000.
