February is National Black History Month. The Town of Islip is proud to recognize Black History during the month of February, and throughout the year. Our Town celebrates the diverse cultures and heritages of its residents, and Black History Month represents the opportunity for all within the Town of Islip to acknowledge the many contributions of our neighbors, volunteers and professionals, who help to enrich our quality of life.

This year, we return to celebrating Black History Month in person at the February Town Board Meeting, where we will pay tribute to the many accomplishments of our deserving honorees.
