September 12th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by members of the Town Board and elected officials on the federal, state, county and local levels, at the Town's annual 9-11 Memorial Ceremony Sunday.

September 15th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by members of the Town Board to celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of 5 residents, as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. The ceremony returned to the Islip Town agenda after a two year COVID hiatus. Hispanic Heritage Month begins Thursday, September 15.
