The Islip Housing Authority manages 334 units of federally subsidized senior citizen apartments at three sites: Oakdale, Central Islip, and Bay Shore. It also manages 18 units of family housing in Bay Shore.
The Housing Authority also administers the Section 8, federally-subsidized program in the Town of Islip.
