Recreation Card and Senior ID

Recreation and Senior Card Application

  • Must be Town of Islip Resident
  • Submit copy of your NYS Driver License or Non Driver Identification card
  • Submit 1 of the following: copy of tax, utility or insurance bill, car registration (Not required for Senior Card if your driver’s license or non-driver ID card has a Town of Islip address)
  • Enclose any necessary form of payments: cash, check, Visa or MasterCard

RESIDENT: $30

NON-RESIDENT: $50  - Non-Resident cards are for use at Ronkonkoma Beach ONLY **

Anyone 12 and older must obtain a Town of Islip Recreation Card to register for programs and admission to Town facilities. Senior Citizens 60 years and older may obtain a Senior Citizen card for FREE. A Senior Citizen card is issued in place of a Recreation Card.

Please note that we require New York State Driver's License or a New York State Non-Driver Photo ID and a current proof of residency to purchase a Recreation Card. Proof of residency may be any one of the following: utility bill, telephone bill, tax bill, charge card bill, vehicle registration, medical bill, notarized/imprinted rent receipt, a bank statement or a withholding form. You may obtain your card at the locations listed below. We also offer a Family Plan whereby when one family member purchases a Recreation Card, cards for additional family members are half price. All cards must be purchased at the same time to take advantage of this money-saving offer.

Locations: All Cards are valid two (2) calendar years from date of purchase.
