In compliance with the federal Clean Water Act and New York State Environmental Conservation Law, the Town of Islip has developed and implemented a local management plan to help reduce pollutant loading in coastal waters and improve the water quality in our estuaries, retention basins, Lake Ronkonkoma and the Great South Bay.

The Draft of the Town 2025 Stormwater Management Program Annual Report is now available for public review on the Town’s website and at the Planning Department. The Town Stormwater Management Program Plan Documents are also available for public review at the Planning Department or by submitting a FOIL request via the Town’s online FOIL Request Form. Comments and questions on the Town Stormwater Management Program can be submitted to the Planning Department at 631-224-5450 or through the online report form.
