Supervisor Carpenter and Councilman John Cochrane stands with Veterans at a Memorial Day Celebration at Islip Town Hall

May 28th, 2019– The East Islip, Islip Memorial Day Parade ended with a touching service at the Veterans Memorial Park at Islip Town Hall Monday.

Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilman John Cochrane, Councilman James O'Connor and parade goers, later moved inside to the East Islip Legion Hall for a traditional American barbecue.

"God bless our wonderful Town, and the incredible sense of patriotism that was so evident this weekend in every corner of the Town of Islip," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
