July 26th, 2019 – Students participating in the Town of Islip ever-popular Summer Theatre Camp were seen conducting final rehearsals Thursday for their stage performance at Town Hall West.
Under the direction of professional actress and director Lorraine Zeller-Agostino of Agostino Arts, students of all levels spent two weeks working on acting skills, improvisation and performance encouraging creativity, confidence and spontaneity.
"We are so proud of the variety of programs and activities offered by our division of Cultural Affairs. There is truly something for all ages and abilities, not only in the summer, but all year long," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
The two-week program accepts up to 40 students from beginner to advanced, and between the ages of 10-18 years. All students will have the opportunity to perform at the final show at 7 pm Friday, July 26th.
