Do you know how to help your pet in an emergency?
The Islip Town Fire Museum will be hosting a fundraiser Pet CPR & First Aid training class geared for the general public, on Thursday 7/6 at 7 PM. Taught by our museum historian/2nd VP, this is a HANDS-ON (no boring slides or video) training event, presented with a "real world" approach, garnered over 30+ years of field experience as a seasoned EMS provider and educator.
The class is perfect for pet parents, pet care professionals (groomers, sitters/walkers, kennel staff, trainers, vet techs/asst., etc.) and animal rescue volunteers. No prior training or experience is needed!
