Music & Astronomy Under the Stars

Join us for a stellar evening of music and stargazing at Casamento Park in West Islip, on Wednesday, August 21st! Gates open at 5:00pm, concert begins at 7:00pm. Enjoy music from FREEBIRD, the Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, and a variety of delicious bites from the food trucks on site.

But that's not all! Experience the cosmos with Dr. Donald Lubowich from Hofstra University, who’ll guide us through telescope views of the Moon, Saturn, Venus, and more.

Get ready for a Summer of free fun in the Town of Islip! We're excited to announce our Summer Fun 2024 series, featuring Movies in the Park and Concerts in the Park events throughout July and August.

Movies start at dark (gates open at 6:30 PM) and include family favorites like Pocahontas, Lilo & Stitch, and The Little Mermaid (2023). Concerts kick off at 7 PM (food trucks arrive at 5 PM) with tribute bands honoring Van Halen, Eagles, Pat Benatar, and more.
