April 18th, 2019 – The Town of Islip Division of Code Enforcement will be kicking-off their annual Quality of Life initiative on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th, to address quality of life issues on residential properties in all hamlets, with the exception of those on Fire Island. The Town will be looking for violations of the property maintenance code, including but not limited to, outdoor storage of unregistered vehicles, parking of commercial vehicles and excessive vegetation. This initiative will extend through Labor Day, September 2nd, 2019.
