June 20th, 2019 – The LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD Signal Deptatment is planning to close Islip Avenue Southbound to all traffic on Tuesday, June 25th from 7AM - 6PM at the grade crossing, in order to perform crossing rehabilitation work. A full road closure will also be required to complete the scheduled work on Saturday, June 29th from 12AM - 12PM.
While the work is in progress, the LIRR and MTA Police will be on site to facilitate safe traffic control and enforce road closure. For more information, please visit www.mta.info/lirr
