The Town of Islip has long been recognized as a national leader in recycling and waste management, and this contest is part of our ongoing effort to promote environmental awareness in the community. This year marks the 56th anniversary of Earth Day, and the town is inviting students to celebrate by submitting creative artwork that highlights the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling. Entries may cover themes such as composting, electronics recycling, waste-to-energy conversion, and more.

One poster per student. Hand-drawn only. No digital entries. Must include a completed 2026 Student Release Form.
