July 23rd, 2019 – Town of Islip Harbormasters are on the water, reminding residents of safe boating requirements. Harbormasters were seen on patrol this weekend in the Great South Bay and ancillary waters enforcing boating rules and regulations.

"Beautiful weather means more people will be out enjoying our waterways and safe boating is essential," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “Summertime is a wonderful time to enjoy the bay, canals and lakes however safety must come first,” she added.
