ISLIP, NY – December 1, 2025 – Breeze Airways will begin new nonstop flights between Long Island MacArthur Airport and Myrtle Beach beginning May 6, 2026. Breeze will serve the route two times weekly (Wednesdays and Saturdays) on its Airbus A220 aircraft with NICE, NICER and NICEST seating.

"Breeze Airways continues to grow at Islip's MacArthur Airport to the delight of both Long Island residents and visitors enjoying our legendary convenience as they explore our beautiful region and connect with family and friends. Our local community and loyal ISP travelers have been asking for more service to Myrtle Beach, and we're grateful Breeze Airways has recognized another opportunity to serve our customers," said Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.

The flights are now available for booking with fares as low as $69 at flybreeze.com.

Breeze conducted their FAA certification proving runs at ISP early in 2021 and demonstrated compliance that spring. In December 2021, Breeze founder David Neeleman announced service from Long Island MacArthur Airport and Breeze launched ISP commercial service in February, 2022 with two nonstop cities - Charleston, SC and Norfolk, VA with an average of four nonstop trips per week in 2022.

With their addition of nonstops from ISP to Myrtle Beach, SC in May, 2026, Breeze will have nine ISP nonstop destinations, growing its ISP average daily departures and seats since 2022 by over 425% and over 516%, respectively.

"At Long Island MacArthur Airport, one of our goals is to make it easy for airlines to do business and serve customers in the New York region by keeping airline costs low and prioritizing effective marketing initiatives. We're intentionally making Long Island MacArthur Airport a smart business choice for capacity investment," said Long Island MacArthur Airport Commissioner Rob Schneider.

"All ISP Breeze Airways flights are to destinations customers can find on Breeze only at Long Island MacArthur Airport, not at JFK or La Guardia. Other "Only At ISP" features that passengers will enjoy include an excellent customer experience with the convenience of close parking, quick gate access, and an efficient TSA security screening operation," said Town of Islip Councilman John Lorenzo.

The destinations Breeze Airways serves nonstop at Long Island MacArthur Airport are:

  • Charleston, SC
  • Fort Myers, FL
  • Myrtle Beach, SC
  • Norfolk, VA
  • Raleigh-Durham, NC
  • Richmond, VA
  • Sarasota, FL

"MacArthur Airport is a resource for all Long Island, bringing good jobs and opportunities to our region. It's the easy, go-to airport for Long Islanders heading on a vacation or traveling for business. These new Breeze flights to Myrtle Beach will also bring visitors to Long Island to enjoy the Fire Island National Seashore, Long Island's East End, our excellent dining and winery choices, charming villages, historic lighthouses and much more," said Mitch Pally Discover Long Island Interim President & CEO.
