The Islip Arts Council is inviting one and all to attend Women’s Rights and Small Bites, an evening of networking at the new women's exhibit, celebrating the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote. The event will be hosted February 12, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, at Brookwood Hall.

All are invited to join Women Sharing Art artists along with AAUW and P.E.O., a philanthropic organization where women CELEBRATE the advancement of women; EDUCATE women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and MOTIVATE women to achieve their highest aspirations.

There will be a curator’s talk and a presentation about how the new exhibit came together. Light fare and beverages, soft drinks and sweets will be served.

The Suffolk County Police Department will be holding an informative meeting in Islip on Monday, February 17th, at the Islip American Legion, regarding the increase of human trafficking in or around our community. All who are concerned are invited to attend. See the flyer above for full details.

Join Keep Islip Clean on Thursday, February 20th to discuss updates and information on Keep Islip Clean activities, volunteer opportunities and the many efforts to end littering, beautify our communities, increase recycling rates and educate the youth. The meeting will begin at 7pm in Brookwood Hall located at 50 Irish Lane, East Islip.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Town Hall, 401 West Main Street, Islip, New York.
