Walk-in Interviews for 2022 Summer Positions

Living History Day at Islip Grange

May 31st, 2022 – Hear ye, Hear ye! On Saturday, June 11, the Town of Islip will host its beloved Living History Day at the Islip Grange. The event will feature demonstrations of colonial cookery and military drills, walking tours of the Islip Grange, a mock town meeting using Town Historical Records, and a lesson on how to research your home’s history.
Join us for a fun, FREE family event, aimed toward teaching the cherished children in your life the necessary safety precautions for riding bicycles. Bike Rodeo with Islip Town and Suffolk County Sheriff's Office

Activities will include: When to ride on the road; How to use hand signals; How to safely cross an intersection; How to properly wear a bicycle helmet.
