Free games and activities will come to life at 6:00pm, beginning with museum tours, a dinosaur dig, paint by number mural, face painting and much more! Food Trucks will arrive at 6:00pm to begin selling delicious food and treats. Our featured presentation begins at dark at approximately 8:20pm, so bring your blankets, friends and family for a night of fun at the museum in the Town of Islip!
It's a summer-sweet symphony this Friday night August 2nd at West Islip Beach, as our Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs presents the second concert in our Summer Fun Series, featuring the West Islip Symphony Orchestra!
Festivities will kick-off at 6:00 pm with food trucks and shell painting crafts, followed by the Orchestra taking stage at 7:00 pm. Admission is FREE, so bring your friends, family, chairs and coolers for a night of music on the beach. What better way to spend Friday night than watching the setting sun serenaded into the nighttime sky?
