The Islip Arts Council is inviting one and all to attend Women’s Rights and Small Bites, an evening of networking at the new women's exhibit, celebrating the 100th anniversary of women's right to vote. The event will be hosted February 12, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, at Brookwood Hall.
All are invited to join Women Sharing Art artists along with AAUW and P.E.O., a philanthropic organization where women CELEBRATE the advancement of women; EDUCATE women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and MOTIVATE women to achieve their highest aspirations.
There will be a curator’s talk and a presentation about how the new exhibit came together. Light fare and beverages, soft drinks and sweets will be served.
