May 21st, 2019 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter and members of the Town Board recognized at the August Town Board meeting, 10 year-old Oliver Rivadeneyra who for the past 5 years, has been selling lemonade, limeade and baked goods from “Oliver’s Lemonade Stand” outside his Islip Terrace house.
August 13th, 2019 – Islip Town officials were on hand for the demolition of a “zombie” property on Middle Rd. in Bayport Monday morning. Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Town Board Member Mary Kate Mullen were joined by crews from Panzer Demolition who conducted the razing at 637 Middle Rd. in Bayport.
July 25th, 2019 – Restaurants and merchants in Islip, East Islip, Great River, Holbrook and Ronkonkoma will help the Town of Islip continue its year-long 335th birthday celebration by offering specials throughout the month of August. Customers will find items priced at $16.83 or $3.35, which commemorate 1683, the year the Town received its first patent, or the Town's birthday year, 335.
