July 8th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Tom Owens, Commissioner, Town of Islip Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs and NYS Assemblyman Phil Ramos, unveiled new upgrades at the Brentwood Recreation Center this week, along with a new turf field at the Central Islip Community Park.

July 7th, 2022 – The Town of Islip’s Public Safety Division has been working with all Town departments to increase situational awareness among employees. Recently, full-time, part-time and seasonal employees throughout the Town’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs participated in two important staff training exercises- “Active Shooter Training” and “Stop the Bleed.”

July 1st, 2022 – The new week-long Town of Islip wrestling camp came to a close this week, and earned rave reviews along the way. This was the first year for the camp, which was made possible through a partnership between the Town and Islip Kid Wrestling.
