– In a continued effort to prioritize public safety, the Town of Islip has partnered with the Suffolk County Police Department to conduct joint inspections at smoke and vape shops across Islip. These inspections aim to eliminate the illegal sale of cannabis and protect residents, especially youth, from unregulated and potentially dangerous substances. In the last week alone, officers have inspected nearly ten shops in Islip and issued several violations.April 25th, 2025
