February 28th, 2023 – Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter presented South Shore University Hospital and Good Samaritan University Hospital each with checks for $225 to their respective heart health research programs. The monies were raised through the Town’s annual “Wear Red Day” during the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness.

February 14th, 2023 – Breeze Airways, the newest, nicest low-fare airline, is adding two new nonstop destinations from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport, starting in May, with seasonal summer flights to Pittsburgh, PA and Richmond, VA, through September 5. The new flights are now on sale at introductory fares, from just $39* one way. Breeze now offers 143 nonstop routes between 35 cities in 21 states nationally.

February 9th, 2023 – AT&T donated a check for $50K to Catholic Health’s Food Insecurity Program recently. The event took place at the Town’s Caesar Trunzo Senior Center in Brentwood, NY. Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter was joined by Dr. Patrick O’Shaughnessy, President and CEO, Catholic Health; John McMurray, CEO and Senior Vice President, Good Samaritan University Hospital and representatives from AT&T at the event.

February 8th, 2023 – Breeze Airways, the newest, nicest domestic low-fare airline, has expanded its “Get Off The Couch” sale, now for travel through March, following tens of thousands of Guests getting off the couch to buy ticket last week. February 8th, 2023 – The Islip Town Board celebrated Black History with the return of its popular in-person ceremonies honoring members of the community who have gone above and beyond to enhance, enrich and improve residents' quality of life in the Town.
