October 30th, 2023 – More than 30,000 people turned out for the 43rd Annual Town of Islip Apple Fest Saturday at the Islip Grange in Sayville. October 26th, 2023 – Brentwood Celebrates with Community Mural
The Long Island Latino Teachers Association (LILTA) in collaboration with the Huntington Arts, Teatro Yerbabruja, and BethpageFCU, held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the newly completed Brentwood Mural.
The mural was directed by master, Segundo Orellana, and assisted by students from Brentwood and Central Islip. The Brentwood Mural, at 92 Wicks Rd., showcases places and events in the community of Brentwood.
