March 22nd, 2023 – Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and the Islip Town Board recently appointed Stony Brook University graduate, Taylor Larson, to serve on the Islip Town Environmental Council (ITEC). The vote was passed at the March 14th, 2023 Town Board Meeting, held at Islip Town Hall.
March 23rd, 2023 – Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and the Islip Town Board have, by unanimous vote, accepted the donation of approximately 1,125 individual lunch servings from Good Samaritan University Hospital, to be distributed at the Town of Islip’s six Senior Centers.

March 17th, 2023 – Family and friends of longtime West Islip resident Anthony Scuderi turned out for a car parade celebrating his 99th birthday this week. "If I ever reach 99 or 100, I want a parade to come down the block,” Anthony once told his daughter, Maria. “Me, being the love of shenanigans, those words I never forgot,” she said. “And being the dad and the man he is, I wanted to fulfill his wish,” she added.
