February 14th, 2023 – Breeze Airways, the newest, nicest low-fare airline, is adding two new nonstop destinations from Long Island’s MacArthur Airport, starting in May, with seasonal summer flights to Pittsburgh, PA and Richmond, VA, through September 5. The new flights are now on sale at introductory fares, from just $39* one way. Breeze now offers 143 nonstop routes between 35 cities in 21 states nationally.

February 9th, 2023 – AT&T donated a check for $50K to Catholic Health’s Food Insecurity Program recently. The event took place at the Town’s Caesar Trunzo Senior Center in Brentwood, NY. Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter was joined by Dr. Patrick O’Shaughnessy, President and CEO, Catholic Health; John McMurray, CEO and Senior Vice President, Good Samaritan University Hospital and representatives from AT&T at the event.

February 8th, 2023 – Breeze Airways, the newest, nicest domestic low-fare airline, has expanded its “Get Off The Couch” sale, now for travel through March, following tens of thousands of Guests getting off the couch to buy ticket last week. The extended sale now discounts travel from Westchester County-New York and Islip-Long Island across 9 routes, with fares from $39*.

February 8th, 2023 – The Islip Town Board celebrated Black History with the return of its popular in-person ceremonies honoring members of the community who have gone above and beyond to enhance, enrich and improve residents' quality of life in the Town.

"February is National Black History Month… an opportunity for all of us to celebrate and acknowledge the many contributions of our diverse neighbors, volunteers and professionals, who help to enrich our Town every day," said Islip Supervisor, Angie Carpenter.

February 3rd, 2023 – Islip Town’s Unity Council hosted its first Unity Ceremony at Town Hall West, attended by several hundred members of the community, including elected officials, organizational leaders, Veterans groups, residents, school and local hospital representatives.

The event took place on what is also known as International Holocaust Remembrance Day, Friday, January 27th.
