October 14th, 2021 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined officials from Good Samaritan Hospital on the occasion of the hospital earning the Magnet Designation for Nursing Excellence. The Magnet Recognition Program highlights health care organizations that demonstrate excellence in nursing philosophy and practice, adhere to national standards for improving patient care, have an active research program, and display leadership and sensitivity to cultural and ethnic diversity.

October 13th, 2021 Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with Town officials Tuesday morning, for the demolition of a blighted property in the Bay Shore community, following a unanimous resolution passed by the Town Board to raze the vacant home in early January of this year.

October 6th, 2021Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilman James P. O’Connor and Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken joined with Veterans from across Long Island at Long Island MacArthur Airport recently to welcome Honor Flight Long Island and its first flight since 2019.

October 1st, 2021 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with Babylon Town Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, local officials, representatives from Northwell Health and community leaders, at a press conference kicking off Pink by the Bay, a month-long effort sponsored by Northwell Health that shines a spotlight on breast cancer screenings, early detection and prevention during October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

September 28th, 2021 Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended the unveiling of a new memorial at the Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum in Central Islip, honoring 20 fallen first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty. Fire Departments and Emergency Services from throughout Islip Town were in attendance.
