November 23rd, 2021 Families across the Town of Islip will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year, made possible through the efforts of Islip Food for Hope, generous donations from various Town departments, local businesses and the office of the Town of Islip Supervisor.

November 17th, 2021 slip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Islip Councilman James O’Connor attended a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the newest addition to the Oakdale Business community, Matted Memories Frame and Gift Shop, offering custom designed framed showcases to celebrate life’s milestones, special occasions and accomplishments.

November 17th, 2021 Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter applauded Department of Public Works crews for their tireless work last week, assisting teams from PSEG-LI in the aftermath of a storm carrying high winds and heavy rains that hit the region midday Saturday. The storm caused downed trees and limbs that resulted in damage to property and automobiles in Nassau and Suffolk counties.

November 5th, 2021 Islip Town officials unveiled a new sign welcoming travelers to Long Island MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma. Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by Long Island MacArthur Airport Commissioner, Shelley LaRose-Arken; Deputy Commissioner Robert Schneider; Town Councilman John Cochrane, Jr. and Commissioner, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs and DPW, Tom Owens. The new sign is located on Veterans Memorial Highway at the airport entrance. Also on hand were Foreign Trade Zone Executive Director, Brad Hemingway and airport staff.
