June 29th, 2020 – Navy Commander Diane Gardner returned from Kandahar, Afghanistan to a hero's welcome Friday at the Town of Islip's Long Island MacArthur Airport. The Kings Park resident and mother of four is a graduate of St. Anthony's High School Class of 1987 where she played for the women's softball team.
June 19th, 2020 – The Town of Islip accepted 25,000 pieces of PPE this week, consisting of gowns, goggles and gloves.
June 18th, 2020 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and MacArthur Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken announce today that Frontier Airlines will begin daily service from ISP to Las Vegas on March 18, 2021. Frontier Airlines will offer introductory fares of $79 roundtrip and customers may book at FlyFrontier.com starting today.
