May 21st, 2020 – The Town of Islip Division of Senior Citizen Affairs and Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter are proud to announce that the Get Fit with Nick exercise program, once offered at Town senior centers, will now be available on the Town's government access television channels.
May 21st, 2020 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, along with the Town Board announced today, the opening of Islip Town Beaches and Atlantique Marina to residents only for Memorial Day weekend, and with limited amenities set by ‘Reopen New York’ Guidelines from New York State.
May 15th, 2020 – Members of the 106th Rescue Wing performed a flyover Long Island Friday with their Combat King II and Pave Hawk aircraft. The event saluted healthcare workers and those on the front lines battling COVID-19.
May 14th, 2020 – Dozens of Maud Sherwood Elementary School teachers and administrative staff drove through the neighborhoods of Islip hamlet Wednesday, as students and parents waved and cheered them on! The cavalcade was led by the Islip Fire Department.
