May 12th, 2020 – Ethel Zaher enjoyed her 100th birthday Saturday, watching from her front lawn surrounded by family, as a cavalcade of well-wishers drove through her community and past her West Islip home.

May 8th, 2020 – As travelers begin to make plans to fly again and airlines work nonstop to ensure the health and wellness of their customers, Long Island MacArthur Airport becomes the first airport in the world to install and activate new systems to continuously sanitize air and surfaces in the airport’s facilities.
May 4th, 2020 – St. John the Baptist high school seniors drove around the school grounds Saturday, to the cheers of faculty holding signs wishing seniors well. The "senior send-off" at the West Islip high school was an opportunity for administrators and teachers to recognize the students, and distribute lawn signs for the graduating class of 2020.
April 30th, 2020 – Islip High School teachers, boardmembers and administrators rode in a cavalcade of 70 cars throughout the hamlet of Islip Tuesday, to reconnect with their colleagues and students. The parade of 70 staff members drove for three hours through neighborhood streets, escorted by an Islip fire truck.
April 28th, 2020 – The United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the United States Navy Blue Angels paid tribute to healthcare workers battling COVID-19 with a flyover Long Island's south shore Tuesday.
