November 24th, 2019 – Over 900 Boxes of Love were filled with all the side dishes necessary to make a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and more than 900 turkeys were collected, all in preparation for distribution to families in need.

November 26th, 2019 – Islip Town Councilman John C. Cochrane, Jr. recently met with Bay Shore High School Superintendent Joseph C. Bond, State and local officials, to celebrate Bay Shore School District’s launch of their new fully electric Blue Bird school buses.

The topic, "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," focuses on building and sustaining positive relationships by facilitating a better understanding of a person’s role in various personal and professional relationships.
November 21st, 2019 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, along with the Islip Town Board, paid tribute to the American Legions within the Town of Islip on the occasion of their 100th Anniversary this year. The recognition ceremony took place during the Town's November Town Board meeting.

Long Island resident Raymond Miehl, 62, met Ashley Brayton of Ohio, who's father’s heart now beats in his chest, after she exited the gate from her Southwest Airlines flight.
