December 20th, 2019 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, along with members of the Town Board, recognized the women of the Bayport-Blue Point Varsity Field Hockey and Volleyball teams, for earning the Suffolk County Championship Titles in both sports recently.
December 20th, 2019 – Islip Town Clerk, Olga Murray, is pleased to share her office’s caring efforts in preparing hundreds of seasonal greeting cards for both active and retired military members. The Town Clerk employees assisted American Legion Post 411 Rusy-Bohm Auxiliary members in their annual giving to the troops and military.
December 20th, 2019 – Rose Santoro was joined by Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter at a celebration marking her 101st birthday this week. The birthday party took place at The Bristol in Sayville, where 81 kids from the Sycamore Avenue Elementary School in Bohemia joined Supervisor Carpenter in singing Happy Birthday to Rose.

December 12th, 2019 – The Long Island Housing Partnership, in conjunction with Bartone Properties, conducted a Housing Lottery at Islip Town Hall this week. The lottery ranked over 70 applicants that have applied for consideration for an affordable apartment at Cornerstone Hauppauge.
December 12th, 2019 – Town of Islip employees gave generously, as they do each year, to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Employees selected their "angels" and purchased gifts according to each child's wish list.
