November 1st, 2019 – Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter today announced that the Town of Islip has been designated a Clean Energy Community by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), recognizing its leadership in reducing energy use, cutting costs and driving clean energy locally.

October 30th, 2019 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with members of the First Baptist Church of Bay Shore to spruce up 5 homes on Harrison Ave. and Harrison Place recently. The initiative, Spruce Up Bay Shore, brings volunteers together to paint, repair porches and do all they can to help fix-up homes in the area.
