August 29th, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter paid a visit to Joseph Vitale on the occasion of his 99th birthday recently. Joseph is a true American hero, whose honor, courage and devotion to duty would lead him to serve at the Brooklyn Army Base prior to joining the United States Army during the Second World War, wherein he would serve with the 4th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron on the frontlines during the Battle of the Bulge in Ardennes, Central Europe and Rhineland.
August 24th, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter recently accepted donations on behalf of the Town of Islip Youth Bureau’s School Supply Drive, from the generous members of the Marine Corps League of Bay Shore.
The ever-popular drive has proven essential to local families, who rely upon the kindness of community groups and residents to assist in reducing the expense of readying their children for the school year.
August 23rd, 2023 – Welcome to the Town of Islip Small Business Community! Lasting Impressions Photography Studio opened at 1100 Prospect Ave. in West Islip recently. "We are so fortunate here in our wonderful Town to have a variety of small businesses to support, and that make shopping fun and enjoyable. We welcome Lasting Impressions to our Town," said Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter.
August 21th, 2023 –– Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone were joined by community leaders and elected officials in breaking ground on a long-awaited project that will connect the Central Islip business district to the Suffolk County Sewer system.
