March 28th, 2019 – Four female officers recently hired at Islip MacArthur Airport have changed the airport culture in the few months since they've joined the ISP team. The new officers were trained in part by Special Investigator Andrew Oliveri.

March 25th, 2019 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Town Councilman John Cochrane Jr., checked on the public works crews at the “Bayway Corridor Project” in Bay Shore Friday. The project began in early March and already this week, crews could be seen pouring curbs and pulling wire for lighting.
March 22nd, 2019 – The Town of Islip March Town Board meeting was abuzz with excitement, as exemplary women, basketball players and EMTs were honored. Six women from the Town were named Women's History honorees.

March 19th, 2019 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter this morning delivered the State of the Town address, focusing on the Town’s future, as well as shedding light on previous accomplishments. The address, entitled “A lot has been accomplished-but there is a lot more to be done!” made reference to the achievements throughout the Town during the Supervisor’s first four years in office, but concentrated more so on the Supervisor’s future plans for the Town of Islip.
March 14th, 2019 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined Aviation Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken, members of the Islip Town Board, leadership from Southwest Airlines, and special guests today in the airport’s Art Gallery to celebrate Southwest Airlines’ 20-year partnership with Long Island MacArthur Airport.
March 8th, 2019 – Town of Islip Public Safety officials welcomed Life Coach/Leadership Coach Joseph Fox to their offices this week, to share his Core Principles of Leadership and Development Workshop with public safety staff. Fox, retired NYPD Chief of Transit, travels around the globe offering workshops to various arms of government.
March 6th, 2019 – Town Councilman John C. Cochrane, Jr. joined Town Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen in East Islip recently for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
