Adopt-a-Pet Center on Saturday, September 28th from
9:00 am - 2:00 pm at Brookwood Hall for a FREE Rabies Vaccination
Clinic for your dog, cat, or ferret. All dogs must be leashed. A $10 donation to our
Islip Animal Shelter per animal would greatly appreciated, but is not required. Dog
licensing and mircochipping will also be available for an additional fee. See the

Join the Oakdale Historical Society on Saturday, September 28th at St. John's Landmark Church in Oakdale from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm for the grand set-up of your 2019 entry into this year's March of the Scaregrows. See Rules and Regulations. Scaregrows will remain on display through Saturday, October 5th where 3 cash prize winners will be selected by the community at the Living History Tour event (1 pm – 4pm).
