The Bay Area Chorus of BAFFA presents ‘Tis the Season featuring music of the holidays plus an audience sing-a-long on December 3rd at Patchogue United Methodist Church. The concert features The Pergoles Magnificat plus seasonal carols and songs for the holidays. The concert will begin at 4:00 PM and is free though a small donation is requested. Please join us on Thursday, December 7th at 4:30 pm as we celebrate the start of Chanukah with the Town of Islip Menorah Lighting outside Islip Town Hall, located at 655 Main Street in Islip!

On Friday, December 8th, enjoy the beautifully decorated grounds of Brookwood Hall as the Town hosts a FREE Holiday Drive-in Movie featuring The Grinch Movie, sponsored by Good Samaritan University Hospital, a member of Catholic Health.

The movie will begin at 7pm. The donation of non-perishable food is appreciated. Admission is FREE.

PALS Plein Air Limner Society presents Paint and Colors of Long Island, their 14 Annual Art Exhibit, at the BAFFA Art Gallery on December 9 and 10. The exhibit features paintings from local artists who have created their works in Plein Air, outdoors, on the spot, featuring the amazing beauty of Long Island. The exhibit can be viewed on both days from noon to 4 PM. The BAFFA Art Gallery is located in the Gillette House at 47 Gillette Avenue in Sayville.

The Bay Area Symphony Orchestra of BAFFA under the direction of Bradley S. Hartman, presents its first concert of the season at the Sayville Middle School on Saturday, December 9, at 2 PM. “Classically Czech-ing Out the Winter Season” features the music of Mozart, Dvorak, Anderson, and Tchaikovsky. The FREE concert is open to the public. The Sayville Middle School is located at 291 Johnson Avenue in Sayville.
