Every Spring BAFFA showcases the artwork of the local area’s elementary, middle, and high schools. This year the exhibits begin on March 2 and 3 with artwork by Sayville and Bayport-Blue Point elementary schools. Artwork by Sayville and Bayport-Blue Point Middle School students will be featured on March 16 and 17. Both exhibits can be seen at the BAFFA Art Gallery from 1 to 4 PM on those weekends. The exhibits are open to the public and are free. We hope the young artists’ moms and dads, siblings, uncles and aunts, and grandparents will stop by the Gallery to view the children’s artwork.
The annual Juried Invitational High School Art Exhibition will take place on April 13 and 14 from 1 to 4 PM. Twelve area high schools will be represented in this year’s exhibition.
