January 31st, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter is urging residents to remove their cars from the roads, so that plows can safely execute curb to curb plowing. It is a violation of Town Code to leave a vehicle on the road during a State of Emergency. In addition, leaving a car on the road is dangerous, and can result in damage to the vehicle.
"It is essential that residents move their cars into their driveways or onto their lawns if necessary, so that plows can safely and efficiently plow our roadways," said Supervisor Carpenter.
