January 9th, 2021 – To understand what’s happening in our world today, we must reflect on what has happened in the past. Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter is proud to share Optimum's Celebrating Black History, powered by education technology company EVERFI.

The educational tool provides an interactive way to explore some of the lesser-known stories about the Black Experience and inspire conversations about social justice. This free resource, appropriate for ages 12+ to adult, includes four 10 minute lessons, as well as an optional essay contest for middle and high school students.
