July 22nd, 2021 – The Town of Islip Youth Bureau annual School Supply Drive is currently underway, and help is needed to ensure each child in the Town has the tools needed for a successful upcoming school year.
Be a part of this great initiative to ensure success to those less fortunate, by bringing new and boxed school supplies to any of the Town’s drop-off locations by August 20th. Donations for this year’s drive are currently low. Your help is needed to make this year a success!
“Every child deserves the opportunity to have a successful school year, regardless of income. We’re grateful to our residents who in the past, have been incredibly generous, and have enabled kids to begin the school year with their best foot forward,” said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
Supplies can be dropped off at the Town of Islip Youth Bureau, located at Town Hall West, 401 Main Street, Islip; the Office of Supervisor Angie Carpenter, located in the Main Lobby at 655 Main Street, Islip; or at the Office of Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, located a Jacob Ockers House, 965 Montauk Hwy, Oakdale.
