Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and members of the Islip Town Board are encouraging residents to support small local businesses by shopping in their community during the holiday season. Since 2010, the Saturday between Black Friday and Cyber Monday has been dedicated Small Business Saturday. Now more than ever, small businesses need our support.

“Small businesses are the backbone of a community, and we are fortunate to have a variety of shops and restaurants who call the Town of Islip home,” said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “Do your part by supporting local merchants this holiday season, and throughout the year,” added the Supervisor.
