February 22nd, 2022 – Town Officials are advising residents of a wind advisory in place for all of Suffolk County, between 2 PM this afternoon, until 5 AM Wednesday morning. Winds ranging from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts around 45 mph are expected in our area.
Residents are advised to use caution while driving, and to secure any outdoor objects that could be picked up by winds. There is the potential for tree limbs to be blown down, resulting in power outages and downed power lines.
