Keep Islip Clean is inviting those interested to join the efforts of the 37th Annual International Coastal Cleanup in the Town of Islip. The cleanup is part of a global initiative to remove and catalog litter and debris from our shorelines, waterways, beaches and wetlands.
Last year, 19 KIC volunteer groups, with a total of over 200 volunteers, cleaned 17 coastal sites throughout Islip Town ,collecting over 2,000 pounds of litter and debris.
To participate, simply choose a beach, stream, wetland or any waterway in the Town of Islip, and fill out the Registration Form. KIC will provide cleanup supplies and instructions. Sites are available on a first come, first served basis.
