March is National Women’s History Month, a time to recognize all the hard-working and devoted women in our lives. From women serving as business and community leaders, doctors, teachers, nurses, first responders, to the mothers and caregivers who wear many hats, our community is grateful for the many influential women who call the Town of Islip home.
“Our Town enjoys a rich history of pioneering women who have accomplished much and influenced many. During Women’s History Month and throughout the year, we are proud to celebrate women from all walks of life whose continued efforts leave lasting positive impacts on our lives,” said Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
